Thanks for celebrating Les Murray. But also, I love the fictions. Please don't feel as though we don't. Comment on them would usually be superfluous, where not actually banal, so an absence of comment is actually that moment of silence when the virtuoso's note subsides.
I like the metafictions and pseudonymies, but I also like the current events pieces as well, even when I disagree with you, because you have some pretty entertaining, erudite, and bitchy takes. As William Gass said, literary essays (and essays in general) are even less popular than poetry (a big yikes lol), so listen, you may as well write about whatever tickles your fancy. And you do write about whatever tickles your fancy, and that's why I sub to you!
